For patience and firmness
رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا
Rabbana afrigh 'alayna sabran wa thabbit aqdamana
Our Lord, pour upon us patience and make firm our feet.
What this supplication is
The word of the believers at the moment of confrontation with Goliath's army: pour upon us patience and make firm our feet (2:250). For every trial that demands standing firm, it is the Qur'anic request for sabr and steadfastness.
When to recite it
In trials, confrontation, exams of patience, and before difficult stands.
