Relief from worry and debt
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazan, wal-'ajzi wal-kasal, wal-bukhli wal-jubn, wa dala'id-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijal
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, from weakness and laziness, from stinginess and cowardice, and from the burden of debt and from being overpowered by men.
What this supplication is
The Prophet (peace be upon him) is recorded seeking refuge from the day's heaviest loads: anxiety, sorrow, weakness, laziness, stinginess, cowardice, debt and being overpowered. It names the burdens so the believer can hand them over by name.
When to recite it
In worry, pressure or before sleep; as a daily request for ease.
Duas are a mercy in themselves — sincerity of heart matters more than eloquence. For a personal religious ruling about this supplication or your circumstances, consult a qualified scholar.
