Refuge from the whisperers
رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ ٱلشَّيَاطِينِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَنْ يَحْضُرُونِ
Rabbi a'udhu bika min hamazatish-shayatin, wa a'udhu bika Rabbi an yahdurun
My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the whisperings of the devils, and I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me.
What this supplication is
The Qur'an teaches this refuge from the whisperers — the suggestion of the devils and their presence. It is a dua of the heart as much as of the voice: protection from the inner enemy of faith.
When to recite it
Whenever whisperings trouble the heart; often recited morning and evening.
