Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of Destiny Map. Last updated: September 2026.

1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using Destiny Map (the 'Platform'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms may be updated from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. The service

Destiny Map provides educational content and personal-reflection tools: the 99 Names of Allah, habit and prayer tracking, a dua library, a private journal, an Islamic calendar, a zakat calculator, a Ramadan companion and a knowledge hub. The Platform is provided free of charge in its current form.

3. Guest use and accounts

You may use the Platform as a guest, without an account, with data stored locally on your device. A future release may offer optional accounts for sync. If accounts become available, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity under your account.

4. Your data

In the guest experience your data — journal entries, habits, prayers and progress — is stored in your browser's local storage and is yours. It does not leave your device. You may export or delete it at any time. See the Privacy Policy for details.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape or overload the Platform; (c) impersonate others or misrepresent your identity; (d) use the Platform to harass or harm others; (e) misuse the Platform for commercial spam or advertising; or (f) attempt to access administrative functions you are not authorised to use.

6. Religious content accuracy

We take great care with religious content and never fabricate verses, hadith, sources or rulings. However, translations may vary, scholars differ, and errors can occur. Content is provided as an educational aid, not as a ruling. For consequential questions, consult a qualified scholar. See the Editorial Policy and Disclaimer.

7. Intellectual property

The Platform's code, design, content and brand are the property of the Destiny Map project. You may use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce substantial parts of the Platform's content or branding without permission. Religious texts, where quoted, remain the property of their sources and are quoted for education.

8. Third-party services

The Platform may rely on third-party services (for example, Google Fonts and, in future, advertising, analytics or sync providers). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform excludes liability for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform if you breach these terms. On termination, your local data remains on your device until you choose to remove it; no server-side data is held in the guest experience.
