The comprehensive supplication
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي ٱلْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina 'adhaban-nar
Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
What this supplication is
The most comprehensive dua — good in this world, good in the hereafter, and protection from the Fire (2:201). The Prophet (peace be upon him) is recorded praising it as a dua that gathers everything; it is recited constantly in prayer and out.
When to recite it
Any time, in and outside prayer; a daily staple.
