بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَجْنَا، وَبِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ خَرَجْنَا، وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ رَبِّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا
Bismillahi walajna, wa bismillahi kharajna, wa 'ala Allahi rabbina tawakkalna
In the name of Allah we enter, and in the name of Allah we leave, and upon Allah our Lord we place our trust.
What this supplication is
In the name of Allah we enter and leave, and upon Him we rely. Well-known and widely recited, though scholars note its chain is discussed; it is carried here as a word of dhikr rather than a strictly authenticated narration — the note says so honestly.
When to recite it
When crossing the threshold of your home, in or out.
