For guidance, piety, and sufficiency
ٱللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ ٱلْهُدَىٰ وَٱلتُّقَىٰ وَٱلْعَفَافَ وَٱلْغِنَىٰ
Allahumma inni as'alukal-huda wat-tuqa wal-'afafa wal-ghina
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and sufficiency.
What this supplication is
The Prophet (peace be upon him) is recorded asking for guidance, piety, chastity and sufficiency — the four foundations of a protected life. It is a compact prayer for the whole of one's conduct.
When to recite it
Daily, as a general supplication; morning and evening.
